Hi David, I have seen a number of mono "black heads" fail, but they are re-build-able as long as someone has not ruined the needle holder! Item Location see all Item Location. These have the forked needles and came out before the "DS" style. Faulty cartridges cause a loss of volume and sound quality. Pfanstiehl DS77 needle for Wurlitzer model only. The Gauselmann N is their equivalent.
